The 2016 Zinfandel has a pretty, inviting rusty ruby color with some slight purple in the center. This wine initially offers aromas of raspberries and dried cranberries with a transition to spices - pronounced cinnamon and nutmeg with slight smoky oak. Upon taste, this lively, fruity medium body wine offers tastes of raspberries, cherries, ripe cranberries, and strawberries at the front end followed by subtle spices like fennel and black pepper on the back end. The finish is mellow and lingers ever so slightly.
