Tasting Notes:
The 2017 Congruity is a dry, medium-to-full bodied wine that opens up nicely after decanting for 20 minutes. It offers a dark ruby color with slight purple overtones. It also offers a very perfumy, full cherry and slight rose/raspberry bouquet. This medium-to-full bodied wine provides a nice smooth taste of raspberries, strawberries, and cherries complimented with slight vanilla, spice (from the Syrah), and soft pepper at the end. The wine’s tannins and acidity are nicely balanced with the finish offering lingering cherry and anise.
