Monte De Oro’s 2018 Synergy 65 is a smooth, elegant, medium bodied dry wine. It has a dusty garnet color. Complex aromas and flavors of leather, black olives, fig jam, raisins, hints of peach, and coconut cream with a slightly chewy, vibrant, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a warming, epic, long finish displaying nuances of nut-studded scones with orange marmalade and marigold with light oak flavor. A lovely red blend that keeps things interesting; great integration of distinctive flavors and a juicy finish.
